One of the light, youth-oriented police-action shows that populated the 1970s, Starsky and Hutch had something special - chemistry and a lot of hurt/comfort episodes! The two plainclothes detectives were opposites in most things, but they meshed perfectly - me and thee. Dave Starsky (Paul Michael Glaser, right) was the dark-haired, streetwise half of the duo, while Ken "Hutch" Hutchinson (David Soul, left) was the blond, better-educated half. Together they helped make LA a little safer for everyone. Captain Harold Dobey (Bernie Hamilton) was their boss, and their informant and friend was the flamboyantly dressed Huggy Bear (Antonio Fargas).
